Although my work spans diverse topics,  my  unwavering goal remains the same:

To seamlessly blend culture and storytelling into captivating and cohesive projects, campaigns, and copy, fostering equity for all.

I love connecting seemingly disparate elements, such as a beauty product to an emerging trend rooted in traditional West African practices; anticipating cultural shifts before they reach their zenith, and intertwining them with audience interests through captivating narratives.

Leveraging both technical prowess and editorial finesse, I cultivate community with ease. Developing content and campaigns to reflect this ethos, my forward-thinking perspective enables brands, publications, and organizations to stay connected to the dynamic pulse of culture while creating their own.

My skillset encompasses many other things, too, like communications, social media management, email, print, and video content, SEO, calendar management, and more.

Ok, let’s talk about things other than the back-breaking soul-sucking concept of work in the West (down with capitalism… am I right?)

  • I'm a voracious reader. When I was young I didn’t have a t.v. in my room so I stole my mother's adult books. As you can imagine, there blossomed my love for storytelling and spicy books. You’d understand if you’ve ever read Cupcake Brown or Zane. If not, I suggest you stop reading this and borrow one of their books from your local library, immediately.

  • I love food. Specifically, food history and food storage, but food in general as well. I consider myself an amateur baker, home cook, and horticulturist (but don't ask me about my garden, it doesn’t exist yet because I live in a city.)

  • I deprived myself of animated things when I was young because I thought it was for “children” and my six-year-old advanced mind couldn’t have fathomed enjoying something so juvenile. I realized how foolish that was and have spent the last two years catching up on the anime and animated movies I missed growing up ( Death Note is the best anime & I’m open to debate!)

A few more bits:

  • My favorite color is green (as you can tell from the site.)

  • My favorite fruits are pomegranates, mangoes and guinep (also known as Spanish limes).

  • Amy Winehouse is one of the best singers to ever grace the planet.

  • Art needs to be everywhere.

  • I’m directionally challenged; GPS continuously saves my life.
